Quercus robur L.
Branch with fruits.
This branch of oak was one of my first pen and ink drawings that was not a moss. It was one of the exercises for the diploma and I was still learning how to use the different sizes of pens. One of these days I will re make an oak and see if there is a lot of difference.
You can see in my published work that I prefer to draw with the thin tips rather that the thick ones. I learned that this is not the best thing either, because if we scale down the size of the drawing the lines become even thinner.
