The theme of my final work for the diploma in botanical illustration was Gesneriaceae in watercolour. This is one of the five paintings that I made.

Sinningia gesneriifolia is a species from Brazil. This illustration was made using plants from the glasshouses in the Geneva botanical gardens as reference.
